Carmen (Carly) Cooley

Paraprofessional

I studied at Fullerton College, California State University of Fullerton, and Colorado State University. Before working at Eyestone, I worked in the non-profit world of the Orange County Conservation Corps (OCCC). The OCCC provides job training skills to at-risk youth and young adults from the cities of Orange County, California. I had the pleasure of wearing many hats while at the OCCC including Administrative Assistant, Education Coordination, Recruitment and Community Outreach and New Hire Orientation Coordinator.

I have been an active member of Wellington's community since July, 2001. My husband and I relocated to Wellington and into Poudre School District for our two children. They have both gone through all levels of public education with PSD.

I have been employed by Eyestone Elementary since August 2005 and have enjoyed working with all grade levels. I again find myself with lots of hats. I started my career at Eyestone as a volunteer. Then was offered a position as Instructional Paraprofessional while continuing my volunteer work through the PTO. My passion lies in helping the kiddos feel safe, heard and well loved. And of course, we find the fun in learning while we are together! Some of the fun hats I get to wear at Eyestone include Behavior Support Team, CASTT Creator/Coordinator, New Student Orientation Coordinator, and Social Committee Treasurer.
