Trina Garlo

Fifth Grade Teacher

Welcome to the 2020-2021 school year!

This will be my 29th year of teaching in Poudre School District, and my 19th year at Eyestone. My teaching experiences include 2nd grade (16 yrs), 5th grade (11 years) and substitute teaching K-6 (2 yrs). I received my BA in Elementary Education from Michigan State University, and my Masters in Reading from the University of Northern Colorado. I am grateful to be involved in such an important and rewarding profession. I'm looking forward to getting acquainted and reacquainted with this year's fifth grade families!

I am originally from the beautiful state of Michigan. My husband and I have been blessed with a blended family of 4 great kids. Our youngest daughter is a senior at Poudre High School and our youngest son is a sophomore at Colorado School of Mines in Golden.  Our eldest son and his wife live in Fort Collins, and our eldest daughter lives in Nevada with her husband and our two darling granddaughters. In our free time, we enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, church activities, and horseback riding. We live on a small ranch here in Wellington with our horses, goats, chickens, ducks, a dog, and many wild bunnies.
