I am the speech-language pathologist (SLP) at Eyestone Elementary North and South. I have been an SLP for 21 years in public education. I’ve had a lot of freedom with my occupation to live and work in some pretty cool places, like Hawai’i and Steamboat Springs!
A little bit about what I do at Eyestone... I observe, screen, and evaluate children to determine if they have a communication impairment that impacts their educational performance, functionally or academically, within their classroom setting. I work with students (preschool-5th grade) who have an identified educational disability via an Individualized Education Program (IEP). I also case manage students who have a Speech or Language Impairment as outlined by the Colorado Department of Education.
In my free time I enjoy reading, biking (leisurely rides or road rides), cooking, camping, hiking, and traveling.
