Kelly Williams

Third Grade Teacher

Hello! My name is Kelly Williams and I am a 3rd grade teacher here at Eyestone Elementary South. I just started my 27th year of teaching and can honestly say it has flown by! I began my teaching career in the field of Special Education. I absolutely LOVED working with special needs students, but after 12 years, I decided to make a change to Elementary Education. I taught 4th grade for ten years, and this is my fifth year in 3rd grade.  My team is incredible, and the students are SO SWEET.

I am looking forward to making connections with each and every one of them.

I knew at a very young age that I wanted to be a teacher. I remember "playing school", babysitting, and teaching Sunday School, anything to work with children. It has always been my passion, and I feel blessed to do what I love.

I am happily married to the love of my life, and we have two amazing daughters. They both attended Eyestone K-5, Wellington Middle School, and Poudre High School. Lily is starting her Junior year at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN. Ruby is starting her Senior year at PHS. I love living in the beautiful State of Colorado, especially appreciating the over 300 days of sun each year! There is always something to do, and I must admit, time in the mountains is good for the soul. I love to travel, read (World War II historical fiction is my favorite), spend as much time with my family as possible, and spend time outdoors.

I love my Eyestone family and am so happy to be a part of the new Eyestone Elementary South School and the Wellington community.
