My name is Sara Mitchell and I am enjoying my 6th year here at Eyestone and thrilled to be named Interim Assistant Principal for the remainder of the school year. I received my Bachelor’s of Arts degree from the University of Northern Colorado and my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver and my Pricnipal's Certificate from the University of Wyoming. I began my career as a child and family therapist in a community mental health center and later had the privilege to help start a non-profit organization in Larimer County called the Matthews House. I am absolutely thrilled to now be working in education where I have the privilege of spending my days supporting students, as well as teachers and families.
When I’m not at school, I love to spend time running, hiking, reading and spending time with my two boys (ages 14 and 17) and husband.
